Role Description:

The Senior HR officer will have the overall responsibility of Global HR functions including hiring and interviewing, administering perks and benefits, promoting a positive organizational culture, and crafting company policies. The goal is to ensure the HR department’s operations will be running smoothly and effectively to deliver maximum value to the organization as a whole.


Main Responsibilities:

  • Manages the talent acquisition process. Performs as HR representative in panel interviews
  • Conducts appropriate induction procedure for newly hired employees
  • Coordinates and organizes training & development initiatives
  • Oversees and manages performance appraisal systems that drive high performance
  • Monitors successful implementation of benefits programs such as medical/insurance program, supermarket vouchers, employee recognition programs
  • Be the master user and overall responsible for our HRIS platform (Exelsys)
  • Keeps all employees’ personal files systematically and updates information as needed
  • Enhances job satisfaction and engagement by identifying issues promptly and making suggestions
  • Ensures compliance with labour regulations in all countries of operation
  • Provides support to employees in various HR-related topics such as leaves and resolve any issues that may arise
  • Develops and implements HR initiatives and policies aligned with the overall business strategy
  • Prepares reports for senior management to support decision making through HR metrics
  • Analyses trends, researches and proposes competitive HR incentives to ensure the organization attracts and retains top talent
  • Supports all employer branding initiations such as LinkedIn posts, Glassdoor ratings, partners information
  • Maintains workplace health and safety compliance
  • Handles workplace investigations, disciplinary and termination procedures
  • Maintains absolute discretion and maturity in handling sensitive/confidential data


Knowledge, Skills and Experience Required:

  • Bachelor in HR Management, Organizational Psychology, Business Administration or other related field: minimum requirement
  • Master equivalent: optional
  • 3+ year work experience in a similar position
  • Exposure to HRIS platforms strongly desired
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and to delegate them when appropriate
  • Strong acumen in establishing positive working relationships with employees and all other stakeholders to maximize cooperation and productivity
  • Good knowledge of employment/labor laws in Cyprus and Greece
  • Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • Written and spoken fluency in Greek and English
  • Analytical mindset and problem-solving skills
