Role Description:

We are currently looking for a qualified Sales Support Specialist to join and support our Business Development team in Athens. The successful candidate will assist the sales team through each step of the sales process, by performing administrative and clerical tasks and coordinate with internal departments to ensure that all systems are in alignment as needed.

 

Main Responsibilities:

  • Answers customer inquiries, providing troubleshooting assistance for order account statuses, invoices payments and other issues in coordination with the sales team
  • Carries out sales leads investigation on behalf of the sales team and provides the sales department with relevant data
  • Monitors and gathers information on performance indicators, performs data entry tasks for sales figures, metrics and provides the sales team and the management with the relevant reports on a weekly basis
  • Creates and processes orders in a timely manner, reviews pending orders and provides customers with relevant information, monitors invoices payment.
  • Maintains an organized and accessible filing system for customers
  • Undertakes administrative responsibilities according to the management’s instructions
  • Schedules customer meetings, and assists in conferences and customer presentations
  • Assists Business Development team members, General Manager GR in day to day operations as needed
  • Provides information and sales data to Top Management members whenever needed

 

Knowledge, Skills and Experience Required:

  • A bachelor's or associate's degree in marketing, business, or a related field
  • Experience in administration and high-volume office work may be advantageous
  • Strong analytical, organizational and time management skills
  • Politeness and customer maturity required
  • Excellent team working, motivational and interpersonal communication, and customer service skills
  • The ability to multitask and quickly switch your focus
  • Computer literacy, IT skills, and typing skills
  • An understanding of sales principles and customer service practices
