Role Description:

The successful candidate will become a member of MS/MDR SOC team working on the ClearSkies™ NG SIEM Platform support. It is expected that the chosen professional should be able to demonstrate an understanding of security, systems and networking technologies and work with tight deadlines in a very dynamic environment. The chosen individual will be responsible for running ClearSkies™ SIEM support by troubleshooting various technologies, configuration of networking and operating systems. Working as a team member within the MS/MDR SOC team , the individual selected will be required to interface with the Cybersecurity Analysts, Developers, Security and Network Engineering teams and Professional Services and reporting to the Manager of MS/MDR SOC.


Main Responsibilities:

  • 1st and 2nd Level Support of ClearSkies™ Platform (SWP, MSSP, iCollector)
  • Accept customer calls, handle support issues, maintain case ownership, and keep customers and colleagues informed of progress
  • Maintain clear understanding of the interdependencies of a problem, follow change and configuration management processes
  • Contribute to the design, development, and implementation of methods for detecting and anticipating issues
  • Rotational on-call 24/7


Knowledge, Skills and Experience Required:

  • A minimum of College Diploma in an IT field, preferably with specialization in Information Security
  • Any certification in Linux, Networking and Cybersecurity concepts and technologies will be considered as an advantage
  • Hands on experience with network and information security technologies
  • Deep knowledge of networking design principles and network protocols (eg. TCP/IP, IPv4, SNMP, etc).
  • Implementing and managing Linux and Windows systems
  • Experience with system management technologies like Ansible & RunDeck
  • Experience with NMS systems (Whatsup, LibreNMS, etc)
  • Experience with Linux cli and bash scripting
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in the Greek and English languages
  • Strong organisational skills
  • Ability to work with deadlines and cope with the consequent pressure
  • Ability to deliver high quality and client-focused deliverables
  • Energetic and enthusiastic
  • Self-confident, self-motivated and a quick learner
  • Proven analytical and critical thinking abilities
  • Ability to work in a team environment, and good teamwork skills
