Role Description:

As a Presales Engineer you will develop and nurture relationships with prospective customers through executive meetings, discovery conversations, products demonstrations and follow-up discussions. Your main role will be to become a trusted advisor, influencing and accelerating their adoption of our leading-edge products and services. The successful candidate will work closely with the business development team to implement and execute business development strategies.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Understands the full range of solutions and services consisting Odyssey’s 360° approach, prepares and delivers high-level presentations to prospective customers, covering company’s services offering, products' value proposition and technical requirements
  • Understands and analyzes customer’s information security and risk management needs
  • Acts as a trusted consultant (partner) to customers to help them manage their information risk management needs and provides them with the necessary knowledge and tailormade integrated solutions
  • Presents Odyssey’s unique approach in information security risk management and deeply explains the value of this approach
  • Identifies market’s needs, obtains market information and suggests services upgrade, addition and positioning strategies
  • Defines tailormade solutions to customers and communicates them to commercial operations department for the preparation of quotations
  • Works closely with the business development team to contribute to products innovation and identify, validate, and prioritise product enhancements
  • Performs product presentations to customers and at events
  • Copywriting of scope of services suggested to customer
  • Maintains the proper sales process, including RFI/RFP responses, demos, creating business cases, etc.
  • Supports detailed technical workshops and webinars for customers and prospects to promote new and innovative solutions

 

Knowledge, Skills and Experience Required:

Required

  • BSc/MSc in Computer Science with cybersecurity specialization or other related field
  • Consulting background with understanding and/or hands-on experience in IT and/or cybersecurity technologies
  • Minimum 3+ years’ experience in a similar position
  • Proven ability to implement projects with multi-departmental span
  • Excellent teamwork and communication skills
  • Excellent presentation skills
  • Strong planning, organizing and analytical skills
  • Excellence in the use of Greek and English language (oral and written)

Preferred

  • Information Security Technologies savvy
  • Microsoft Azure certification
